The James Madison University Dukettes are the official dance team of James Madison University. These ladies are some of the most talented at JMU. Here you can find information about performances, appearances, the time commitment, try out dates and requirements, and season length. The Dukettes are a fast-paced organization, who are model representatives of the values of JMU, and are novel ambassadors to the school as a whole.
UPDATES
- Congrats to the JMU Dukettes for winning 3rd in the Nation this past week in Daytona Beach, Florida! The Dukettes traveled to compete in the 2012 NCA/NDA Collegiate National Dance and Cheer Championships and placed 3rd out of 15 Division I teams vying for the National Title. This is the highest ranking place in JMU Dukette history. Congratulations again!
- Tryouts for the 2012-2013 team will be held on APRIL 21st and 22nd, 2012 . On Saturday, April 21st, tryouts will be in Memorial Gym, and check in will begin at 4. On Sunday, April 22nd, the location will be in the JMU Convocation Center, and check in/warm up will begin at 8:30. For more information, please visit the requirements page.
